“Doing the right thing for the right people”

Jeffery Mayberry

President & CEO

With nearly 23 years of combined commercial and residential construction experience, Jeff has spent almost 15 of those years growing with DL Morse—working his way up from carpenter to his current role as President and Owner. An outdoorsman at heart and contractor by trade, Jeff thrives on solving the challenges of complex commercial projects, taking the bull by the horns and leading teams from blueprint to punch list.

Over the past decade, Jeff has managed a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors, including retail, restaurants, commercial kitchens, churches, and large-scale site renovations. His hands-on leadership and deep understanding of the construction process continue to drive DL Morse’s success and growth.

When he’s not on a jobsite or in the office, Jeff can often be found in a duck blind, chasing walleye, or spending time outdoors with his wife, Skye. He also coaches for Newaygo Varsity Football. Motivated by his love for the outdoors and his high school sweetheart, Jeff brings the same passion and energy to his personal life that he does to every project he leads.

Adam Wilson

Project Manager

Raised in a family of do-it-yourselfers, Adam grew up surrounded by construction, which sparked an early passion to learn every aspect of the trade. That drive led to many opportunities—his first major project at just 23 years old was a $6 million hotel renovation, which quickly expanded into managing more than 25 hotel renovations across the country.

When he’s not on the job, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors on his family farm, hunting deer, rabbit, geese, and coyotes. An avid outdoorsman, he often jokes that opening day of deer season should be a national holiday. In the warmer months, Adam, his fiancée Jaclyn, and their young son Reed enjoy camping, fishing, and biking together.

Kohl Grant

Superintendent/Carpenter

Kohl enjoys the hands-on side of carpentry—especially seeing cabinets and trim bring a project’s vision to life—and the added connection that comes with overseeing projects as a superintendent.

Born and raised in Muskegon, MI, Kohl discovered his love for building early on and has carried that passion through roles in remodeling and custom finish work. He’s known for his strong finishing skills and attention to detail, ensuring every project is completed with quality and care.

Outside of work, Kohl enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking with family and friends. He supports his wife in her coaching roles with the Reeths-Puffer cross country and color/winter guard teams and lives by the belief that there’s always something new to learn.

Kris Anderson

Superintendent

Kris enjoys the freedom to make on-the-spot decisions and values working on relaxed, collaborative job sites with enjoyable clients and coworkers.

Before joining DL Morse, Kris held roles as a field manager, superintendent, and project manager, overseeing projects in food manufacturing, logistics, and commercial spaces. Skilled in fabrication, welding, and general construction, he thrives on problem-solving and building solutions.

Born and raised in Muskegon, Kris grew up on Muskegon Lake where his family owns a small marina. He recently married his best friend, Traci, and enjoys boating, building boats, and working on his Jeep. He holds a residential builder’s license, a Class A commercial driver’s license, and a pilot’s license. Kris is excited to marry his best friend, Traci, and lives by the motto: “Be nice until you don’t have to be.”

Steve Kelly

Superintendent

Steve takes pride in turning clients’ visions into reality and ensuring every project meets the highest standards.

Born and raised in Fruitport, Steve learned the value of quality work from his father and carries that principle into every project. Outside of work, he serves on Fruitport’s school board, volunteers at his church, enjoys target shooting, and cherishes life with his high school sweetheart, Amy, and their five children.

Shaun Kissling

Carpenter

Shaun joined the DL Morse team, bringing extensive hands-on experience and a passion for seeing each project take shape from start to finish. He takes pride in completing work safely, efficiently, and with quality in mind, and appreciates the teamwork and positive environment that DL Morse is known for.

Growing up in West Michigan, Shaun learned construction from his father and grandfather, sparking a lifelong appreciation for the trade. After high school, he worked with DL Morse on store buildouts and has since gained experience in both residential and commercial projects.

Outside of work, Shaun enjoys coaching youth sports and was a founding member of the MIHL, a semi-pro hockey league in Michigan, where he served as Vice President of the Muskegon Voyagers. He lives by Philippians 4:13: “For I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”
