Client’s Need: Turn 50,000 sf of unused warehouse space into a barrier-free sports complex for young adults and children with special needs.
Our Response: Work closely with the architect and client to plan, design, campaign and build a Sports Complex under budget and within their allotted timeframe.
Scope: Replace 6 support columns with a 90ft beam to provide a barrier free space. Install gym floor and equipment, construct mezzanines, locker rooms, weight room, storage area, concession area, table game room, conference room, offices and flooring throughout. Exterior improvements included a new design-build entrance, upgraded parking lot, custom designed sign, and 960 sf storage building.
